Batik - Get cracking

For beginners or those with some experience with Angela Lenman a practising batik artist. Learn the basic techniques of Batik, using hot wax and dyes. you will produce one or more colourful traditional batik design or picture. This will be done in the morning.

 

Batik - Experiments on Paper

For beginners or those with some experience

In this workshop with Angela Lenman we will experiment with the batik technique on a variety of papers including blank newsprint, black and white and coloured newspaper and tissue paper. We will also use bleach to remove some of the dyes. This will be achieved in the afternoon. A day to remember and gaining so much knowledge in a short space of time.

 

 

 

Course Duration: 1 day,

Cost: £45 per day. Includes materials.

 

There will be chance to see some of Angela's work on exhibition at Cool Contours during Oxfordshire artweeks in May.
