Creative machine Embroidery for Beginners with Marilyn Hall

Everyone has a creative side! Come along and discover yours. If you are new to a sewing machine or are a competent sewing machine user with a desire to be creative this could be the one for you, or if you would rather be creative and pick up a needle by hand you are very welcome to join this workshop. During the day you will learn the basic method of working and experiment with a variety of effects with many different fabrics and yarns, develop colour schemes and designs. You will go home inspired and armed with lots of samples and notes which you will be able to use as a reference for your future creative work. This workshop will require you to bring along an electric sewing machine that can do straight and zig zag stitching with a darning foot attachment.

 

Suitable for the students on the workshop who came in 2011 or new beginners.

 

There will be a chance to look at Marilyn's works during Oxfordshire artweeks where she will be exhibiting at Cool Contours in May 2012 again in 2012

All course bookings require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the cost of the course. The rest of the cost to be paid two weeks before the workshop. Some workshops are booked direct with the tutors and these are indicated.
